If you are covered by Medicare as your primary insurance and use Intermittent Catheters we have Great News!

Medicare has increased the allowable for intermittent catheters to 200 per month from the previous allowable of 4 per month. Now you can have 200 catheters per month at little or no cost to you.

Medicare has recognized the health benefits of using a new sterile catheter with every catheterization. No more cleaning urinary catheters to make them last for a week.

Duke Medical Supply, Inc. is a Medicare provider specializing in urological and ostomy supplies. If you are covered by Medicare and use intermittent catheters, calling Duke Medical Supply, Inc. will provide you with the following benefits:

  • We will contact your physician to get a new prescription for you.
  • We will submit your claim to Medicare and applicable supplemental insurance.
  • There will be little or no cost to you, depending on your co-insurance.
  • We will ship you the intermittent catheters you need. We offer catheters by all the major manufacturers including: Coloplast, Mentor, Rochester and Bard.

We accept Medcare Assignment on some Urological items, meaning little or no payment is required up front. On other items payment up front is required and Medicare will send any reimbursement to you.

There may be little or no up-front cost, depending on the supplies you use and on your Medicare supplemental insurance.

We will contact your physician to get the appropriate prescription.

We will handle the paperwork by billing Medicare and your co-insurance regardless of whether or not we accept assignment on your supplies.
